Pretzel bakery Ditsch has been training apprentices since 1997. With more than 11 years of experience and currently 28 apprentices at out two sites we can justifiably say that we place great importance on training the next generation!

Below, you can find an overview of the apprenticeships that Ditsch offers:

• Industrial clerk (Mainz & Oranienbaum)
• Mechatronical & electrical technician (Mainz & Oranienbaum)
• Food technologist (Mainz & Oranienbaum)
• Storage logistics worker (Oranienbaum)
• Franchise caterer (Mainz)

For us, structured training plans throughout the year as well as personal tutors and “learning by doing” are important from day one. Furthermore, our apprentices are all given individual assistance (e.g. specific further training schemes, trade fair and business partner visits and help with exam preparations) and good future prospects in a growth-oriented company.

Lisa (industrial clerk apprentice, 3rd year) says:
“The apprenticeship at Brezelbäckerei Ditsch GmbH is very well organised and I enjoy working here. The rotation system in the company, i.e. the fact that during your training you get to know many different departments, means that the training course is very varied and interesting. You get a good overview over the course of your training. You become familiar with the company processes. You are welcomed by your colleagues and you get supported in all areas. The apprenticeship at Ditsch was a very good decision for me that I do not regret by any means.”

Julia (industrial clerk apprentice, 3rd year) says:
“The training course is great fun and you get involved a lot. What I liked particularly was that I was able to take part in monitoring, evaluating and decision-making for the apprenticeship aptitude tests. I liked the facts that trainees accompany the aptitude test when I took the test myself. The atmosphere was great and casual. After that, I really wanted to work with Ditsch!”
