Food standards

Our factories in Mainz and Oranienbaum are certified in accordance with BRC (British Retail Consortium) and IFS (International Food Standard) standards.

BRC was initiated by a group of British retailers and requires documented standards that guarantee the quality and safety of food.

IFS is a food, quality and safety standard initiated by the Hauptverband des Deutschen Einzelhandels (German retail federation, HDE) and taken over by its french counterpart, the FCD (Fédération des entreprises du Commerce et de la Distribution).

In 2007, the range of prebaked products was certified in accordance with the EG eco regulations 2092/91 and received the EU organic seal.
