Ditsch: love of pretzels that you can taste!

• 3 generations of pretzel experience
• huge choice of delicious pretzel specialties
• available as raw pastry pieces or ready baked
• rapeseed oil is the only fat used
• several DLG (German agricultural society) awards

In the year of its 90th anniversary, Brezelbäckerei Ditsch GmbH can proudly look back on 3 generations of pretzel experience. The company’s expertise soon became known beyond the borders of the city of Mainz and led to great recognition from the bakery industry. Today, we produce many different kinds of pretzels:
Swabian, Bavarian and Bavarian-Swabian pretzels, pretzels with and without a cut a the bottom and even pretzels ready filled with butter.
We also produce other pretzel specialties such as pretzel breadsticks, pretzel rolls and pretzel buns.
By the way: the only fat used in all Ditsch pretzel is rapeseed oil!

Our Pizza is not just pizza?

• fresh dough
• edgeless topping
• many different unreasonably delicious varieties
• vegetarian options available
• many awards from the DLG (German agricultural society)

Unlike many other manufacturers who provide the base of their pizzas ready baked, for us using a fresh base is very important. The fresh base is topped right to the edge with select and high quality ingredients. The edgeless topping increases the quality of our pizza products enormously  and reduces the risk of freezer burn at the edge of the dough. And since tastes differ, we offer a broad range of pizzas, including vegetarian pizzas.

What makes a Ditsch croissant?

• use of pure, best-quality butter
• available with and without filling
• lengthwise filling (Strangfüllung) technique
• sweet and savoury fillings
• many awards from the DLG (German agricultural society)

If you have tried a filled Ditsch croissant before you will have noticed that there is plenty of filling, from the very first bite to the last. We achieve this effect using a technique called “Strangfüllung”, or lengthwise depositing. With this technique, the filling is injected into the entire length of the croissants and not just in the middle. Apart from the “Strangfüllung” technique, there is another factor that makes Ditsch croissants so popular: the use of pure premium quality butter.
