SOCIAL MEDIA PLUG-INS
Our Site may contain links to the external social networks such as Facebook or Twitter, and you may share on social networks the content of our Site.
This Site uses a safe sharing tool which establishes a direct contact between the social networks and users only after users click on one of the respective buttons. This tool does not automatically transfer user data to the operators of such platforms. If users are logged into one or more of the social networks, the use of social buttons for Facebook, Twitter etc. will display an information window in which the user can confirm the text before it is sent. The user can share the content of this Site on social networks without their providers creating profiles of users’ surfing behavior.
This Site measures conversions using visitor action pixels from Facebook Inc. ("Facebook").
This allows the behavior of Site visitors to be tracked after they click on a Facebook ad to reach the provider's website, enabling an analysis of the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements for statistical and market research purposes and their future optimization which is our legitimate interest.
You can deactivate the custom audiences remarketing feature in the Ads Settings section at http://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. You will first need to log into Facebook. If you do not have a Facebook account, you can opt out of usage-based advertising from Facebook on the website of the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/.
GOOGLE ADWORDS CONVERSION-TRACKING
Our Site uses the online marketing programme “Google AdWords”, including conversion tracking. Google conversion tracking is a service operated by Google Inc. (“Google”). If you click on adverts placed by Google, a cookie is placed on your computer for conversion tracking. These cookies have, in general, a limited validity of up to 30 days (this duration applies only for cookies which have been set by this Site), do not contain any personal data and thus cannot be used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages on our Site and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognise that you have clicked on the advert and were forwarded to this page. Every Google AdWords customer receives a separate cookie. Therefore, it is not possible to track cookies relating to the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie serves the purpose of producing conversion statistics. This allows us to find out the total number of users who have clicked on our adverts and were forwarded to a page equipped with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which could be used to personally identify users. Processing is carried out on the basis of our justified interest in targeted marketing and analysis of the effectiveness and efficiency of this marketing.
